Just Pass The Test
If you are an over achiever this may be a hard pill to swallow, but you don’t need to ACE the test just pass it!
Find the amount of questions for your state and calculate how many questions you need to get right to pass it. While you are taking the test make a note if you are absolutely sure you answered that question correctly.
If there are 100 questions on the exam and you need a 70% to pass, you only need to answer 70 questions correctly!
Answer All Questions You Know First – The Easy Ones
The test should give you the option to skip questions and come back to them. Use this to your advantage and go through and answer questions that are easy for you. (i.e.) How many sq ft in an acre? 43,560
This will help build your confidence to go back and tackle the other questions that need a little more thought.

Eliminate Wrong Answers
Some answers will be obviously wrong. Eliminate those and focus on the remaining answers.
When confronted with multiple-choice questions, it’s common for several options to appear plausible at first glance.
Carefully analyze each choice and systematically eliminating those that are clearly incorrect or irrelevant, this can significantly enhance your chances of selecting the correct answer.
Techniques such as identifying grammatical errors, contradictions, or choices that don’t align with the question’s context can aid in swiftly discarding unlikely options.
Utilize Clues in Questions for the Answer
Utilizing clues to uncover answers can be a potent strategy for navigating complex questions and arriving at the correct solutions.
Look for contextual hints, keywords, and patterns within the question itself.
If a question is asking about a buyer and the answer refers to a seller, elimate that answer.
Anticipate the Answer
As you are reading the question, think about the correct answer before you see the choices.
Go with your Gut and you will probably guess correctly.
Anticipating an answer allows you to approach each question with confidence and clarity, reducing the likelihood of second-guessing or becoming overwhelmed by uncertainty.

Answer Every Question
If you are running out of time, go through and make a guess on unanswered questions.
You are better off to guess and get it wrong than not answering at all. At least you have a 1 in 4 shot of the correct answer.
If you don’t pass on your first try, you can approach your next attempt by knowing the format and areas you need to study. Keep in mind the tips when taking the real estate exam and you will be better prepared on the next attempt!
Keep a positive attitude and you will eventually succeed.
